If you feed any herbal supplement to horses, here’s a message from Ron about things he’d like you to know:

Herbal Supplements for Horses- The Law

In the UK, ingredients that are put into any herbal horse supplement is controlled both by EU law and UK law. All ingredients included within a supplement that is for sale have to be listed on the EU Feed Materials Register or the EU Register of Feed Additives.

These regulations are in place to show which ingredients are safe to feed, therefore protecting both
horses and horse owners. You can check any ingredient from any brand of supplement for yourself here
https://www.feedmaterialsregister.eu/register

If an ingredient is NOT included on this list, then that company who is selling it, is acting
ILLEGALLY. If you find any brand using illegal ingredients I would encourage you to report them to
Trading Standards. Find the local Trading Standards for the area where the company is based and then send in your complaint https://www.tradingstandards.uk/consumers/support-advice

Why am I telling you this?

At RonFields Nutrition Ltd I have spent a lot of time and effort making sure ALL of our ingredients
are safe and fully compliant with EU Law and our local Trading Standards. The law can change quite often so I regularly check our ingredients for any changes and amend our products accordingly.

I am really proud of my products, all the hard work that has gone into them and all the testimonials
I receive. So understandably I get very upset seeing companies that are still trading illegally.

Let’s stop illegal trading together!

Thank you
Ron Fields
